How Are Seizures Diagnosed?

Using EEG testing, doctors can diagnose seizures. This type of testing analyzes electrical activity in the brain using metal electrodes attached to the brain to measure electrical impulses. The EEG test can help the doctor reach a diagnosis that shows seizure activity in the brain. Other types of imaging tests [1] like MRI, and CT, among others, can also help in the diagnosis of seizures.
